The Role 

This is a dynamic and pivotal role for a highly motivated and independent individual eager to become an Xfuze “super user” capable of delivering end-to-end, data-driven solutions for our clients.

This is a key role for us and our future Implementation Engineer will be instrumental in shaping and delivering impactful outcomes for our customers. You’ll work with our clients from initial requirements gathering, perform in-depth business analysis to complex data integration, configure the platform and develop custom functions. You’ll directly contribute to client success by leveraging your strong communication, analytical, and technical skills.

Our future Implementation Engineer will likely have a background in insight analysis, software development, BI, data engineering, or a related field and will be passionate about solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Xfuze super-user, you will be configuring, extending, deploying, testing and validating complete solutions end to end for our customers:
  • Data analysis, exploration, testing and validation, interacting with the client to understand data structures and use cases
  • Configure connectors (e.g. Shopify, Akeneo, Bloomreach, Optimove, etc)
  • Setup Xfuze workflows/data transformations
  • Functions and transforms – configure, write new plugins
  • Xfuze canonical data models (XDM) and mapping- configure, extend and map the data using Xfuze portal, Jsonata or code plugins
  • Setup Xfuze data hubs (data mapping, domain specific component)
  • Xfuze data quality dashboards
  • Data pipelines and warehouse/lake tables, views using Databricks and other tooling and the medaillon architecture
  • Xfuze lineage
  • Xfuze ML models
  • Configure, extend of create Xfuze BI dashboards with PowerBI on top of Xfuze data layers
  • Testing and validation
• Work with our clients to analyse data driven business processes and understand and check the data.
• Produce documentation and training guides on the packs and how use them
• Advise on the best approach to leverage Xfuze platform and achieve end results

Your Knowledge & Experience

• Leadership –  Independent. Driven. Get things done.
• Communication – Very strong written and verbal. Comfortable in front of a client.
• Business Analysis – Capture requirements, understand use cases and translate into solutions
• Domain knowledge – Retail preferred. Must know at least one complex domain.
• Data modelling, transformation –  Strong data modelling knowledge and ability to design complex model
• Integration and data warehousing –  Have used a platform and configured it to create complete solutions for customers
• Programming and software engineering – Python or equivalent at competent level to write functions and plugins, not expert
• BI and dashboarding –  PowerBI or else required – or ability to pick up rapidly
• Databases and SQL – Strong SQL is a must have
• Technical understanding – Good technical understanding of modern architectures and leading data platforms, if possible Databricks, Spark (as a user, not an expert)
• Cloud – Should know way around at least one cloud
• Previous experience working for a system integrator, a consultancy or professional services organisation to build solutions for customers would be extremely beneficial
