The Role 

A highly motivated, results-driven Head of Product with a proven record of developing, delivering and scaling SaaS offerings in high-growth environments. You will own the end-to-end product roadmap – setting priorities, mobilising cross-functional software teams, and transparently reporting progress and impact to both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with engineering, product architecture and company leadership to evolve and incrementally deliver our flagship internal SaaS platform.

You may be a Senior Product Manager from an established large organisation in a similar space or a Head/Director from a smaller product led business looking for the next stage of their career. The role is hands-on working on a day to day basis with the product team building a great product.

Roadmap & Drive the team (80%) – core of the role

• Product Management process and lifecycle management from ideation to delivery.

• Rolling roadmap for Xfuze platform with a quarterly approved plan, broken into sprints – update every sprint according to progress, priorities and dependencies on client deliveries

• Produce use cases, detailed platform requirements, prioritised backlog, epics and stories as part of the Agile process. Ensure that the delivery team has a clear understanding of what needs to be delivered and in what order.

• Provide team guidance and support on a daily basis.

• Sign off on all new features before release (as part of Product delivery team), make sure documentation, training, etc. are in place

• Performance measurements and measurement such as ROI, TTV, etc.  aligned with company OKRs

Market / External  (10%)

• Alongside the Solutions Director, CMO and senior leadership team, participate in the research of the data management market (research agencies, competitors, early entrants, customers needs) and adjust the Product strategy as required.

• Share Xfuze roadmap with customers, prospects and general market on a timely basis.

• Occasionally take part to presales or account management calls with customers

Internal communication / alignment (10%)

• Communicate roadmap and plan with stakeholders within Xiatech (Steerco, Client Partners, Consultants). Act as a single point of contact.

• Lead the Product board with other stakeholders.

• Maintain the Xfuze academy and ensure it remains fit for purpose for use by Xiatech client delivery teams

• Cross functional team collaboration: sales, marketing, delivery, etc.

• Manage R&D budget for the Platform

Your Knowledge & Experience

Must have

• The Head of Product will have a product background and be well versed into data solutions with data movement, management and insight & analytics. Ideally knowledge of real-time event based integration.

• Must have worked in a rapidly growing SaaS business.

• Must be able to work with a technical team on a daily basis and understand high level architecture, dependencies and main technical components.

• The Head of Product will have at least 3-5 years experience as a Product Manager/Head/Lead

• Experience with Agile and working with cross functional team

Desirable

• The Head of Product will ideally come from a retail background having worked on omni-channel commerce (both digital and traditional), customer, supply chain, data & analytics projects or similar. Other related backgrounds will be considered.

• Jira experience

• PO qualification e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or other product management qualifications.
