The Role

As a Programme Manager at Xiatech, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-impact digital transformation programmes for one of our key strategic clients. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex, multi-stream projects that enable real business change and measurable value, using our Xfuze platform. 

Our future Programme Manager will manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure that they align with the strategic goals of our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact between clients, delivery teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects within a programme, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, understanding their strategic objectives and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a clear programme plan, aligning project objectives with the client’s strategic goals and Xiatech’s capabilities.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate programme risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues before they impact delivery.
• Own customer health through the proactive management of key operations and strategic KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, and data teams to allocate resources effectively across the programme.
• Oversee and manage programme budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on financial performance to ensure the programme remains within budget.
• Champion quality and governance to ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards and that the programme adheres to Xiatech’s governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the programme, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimise processes and delivery.
• Work in partnership with our Product Owners to deliver working software to our clients in a collaborative way to meet the team’s Definition of Done. 

Your Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience as a Programme Manager, leading complex, large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects where necessary.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
• Solid experience in managing budgets, financial forecasting, and cost management within a programme context.
• Good understanding of integration technologies, data architecture, and cloud-based solutions, with experience applying these in transformation programmes.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software.
• Experience in delivering projects that involve real-time data, analytics, and high-volume data processing.
• Experience of building strong customer relationships through account management or customer success management
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Experience working within complex technical and cultural environments, particularly in the context of large-scale business transformations.
• Experience working in a retail environment.
