The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Delivery Lead who can join our growing team at Xiatech and help us deliver across our clients.
As a Delivery Lead at Xiatech, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our platform and services to our clients. You will be responsible for the end to end delivery process and will work closely with cross-functional teams, and customers, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
You should be able to deliver in a hybrid manner, especially when engaging with new customers and run more fully agile as the relationship develops into a tighter partnership over time. Our internal teams will always use agile ways of working and we are committed to constantly improving our approach but we recognise the need to work with our clients against milestones and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery mindset

Instil a delivery-centric mindset within your teams

Work in partnership with your teams to deliver high-quality software to our clients on time, within scope and within budget

Create, own and maintain delivery plans, highlighting forecasts and estimates, and plan deliverables and releases

Monitor team performance to meet key milestones to ensure our clients get the best possible outcomes
Proactive and collaborative

Resolve conflicts and remove impediments that occur within your teams and the wider business to support continuous delivery

Proactively and practically obtain commitments from your teams and key stakeholders in alignment with the Product Owners
Methodology, metrics and team

Lead and facilitate all agile events, planning and delivery management best practices

Coach and support our clients in a consultative manner on agile ways of working by highlighting the benefits and helping them with their transition

Help support team health and create a culture of ownership and psychological safety

Champion an agile/lean mindset and help your teams identify improvements to drive continuous development

Implement metrics and use your analytical approach to identify bottlenecks and drive improvement plans and strategies

Coordinate with internal teams including Architecture and Operations to effectively allocate resources across projects
Communication and client focus

Build relationships with our clients and maximise delivery by using a consultative and collaborative approach

Communicate with our clients to provide updates regarding timeframe and status

Facilitate internal communication with other teams to share best practices

Create and foster a collaborative culture of transparency and trust within your teams
Your Knowledge & Experience
-
Excellent knowledge of agile ways of working
-
2+ years of experience in delivery management or a related role
-
Proven track record of owning and driving delivery
-
Excellent knowledge of delivery management tools and methodologies including agile, waterfall and hybrid
-
Experience managing multiple software projects simultaneously
-
Knowledge of agile metrics including DORA, cycle time, predictability, etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong client relationship management skills
-
Knowledge of the retail domain would be a bonus
